More than 1,500 delegates are attending the annual Macra na Feirme conference in Kilkenny this weekend, which was opened yesterday by the Minister for Agriculture, Mr Walsh.
Over the course of the conference Mr Derek Deane, chairman of the IFA's livestock committee is expected to discuss Irish cattle prices with Mr John Smith, chief executive of the Irish Meat Processors' Association.
