Two arrested after guns and drugs seized in Dublin

Cocaine with estimated value of €6,500 sent for forensic analysis

Two men have been arrested after a drugs and guns find.

Two 9mm pistols, ammunition and cocaine were uncovered during a planned raid on a house at Deansrath Avenue, Clondalkin, in Dublin.

Two silencers were also found at the scene.

The cocaine is estimated to have a street value of €6,500. It has been sent for forensic analysis.

Two men, one in his 30s and one in his 20s, were arrested at the house on Thursday evening.

Investigating gardai said they are being detained under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

The pair are being questioned at Ronanstown and Lucan Garda Stations.
