Man dies in workplace incident at west Cork dairy
Gardaí and HSA start separate investigations after workplace fatality in Clonakilty
Gardaí and the HSA have begun separate investigations after the death of a man at a dairy in Co Cork.
It is believed Mr Beamish, from Carrigroe outside Clonakilty, was fatally injured when he was struck by a shunting unit used to move trailers at the dairy.
The emergency services were alerted, but Mr Beamish was pronounced dead at the scene by a local doctor.
His body was brought to Cork University Hospital for a postmortem.
