THE Pod, the phenomenally successful dance club owned by Longford-man John Reynolds, celebrated its third birthday this week with a huge very-late-night -party on Thursday night. All this will be of little interest to anyone who has failed the rather terrifying style-audit at the door and has yet to make it inside the very cool club. (It's one of the few clubs where the bouncers are just as stylish as the clientele.)
Those who did make it into the birthday bash were racing driver Eddie Irvine; Boyzone; eligible barrister Peter Ward; designers Jen Kelly and Louise Kennedy; fashionable caterer David Murray who celebrated his birthday beforehand in Peacock Alley, and hair-dresser Patrick Byrne.
