Gardaí are investigating a stabbing in Tallaght, Dublin, overnight.
Two men walking by a stream at Culnmore Estate in Tallaght were approached by three youths, one of whom attacked one of the men with an iron bar and stabbed him.
The man is being treated in Tallaght Hospital.
Dublin gardaí are also investigation an incident where two shots were fired at the front door of a house at Huntstown Avenue, Blanchardstown, shortly after midnight.
No one was injured, a Garda spokesman said.
