Oxford - Britain will decide on whether to lift its ban on the sale of beef on the bone on the basis of expert health advice, not political considerations, the Agriculture Minister, Mr Nick Brown, said yesterday. Addressing the annual Oxford Farming Conference, he stressed the consequences of the - albeit slim - chance of humans catching "mad cow" disease, or BSE, from eating infected cattle.
