Events company to create 50 jobs

Dublin-based event services company EventServ is to increase its workforce, creating 50 new jobs over the next six months.

Dublin-based event services company EventServ is to increase its workforce, creating 50 new jobs over the next six months.

The company said it was planning a recruitment campaign as part of its bid to expand in the Irish event market.

EventServ, which is a subsidiary of SiteServ, supplies services such as staging, temporary seating, crowd control, rigging and ground covering services to the festival, concert, sporting and exhibition sectors.

In the past, EventServ has worked with events such as the Oxegen Music Festival, the Volvo Ocean Race, U2’s recent concerts at Croke Park, Oasis’s concert at Slane Castle last and the Top Gear Live show.

The firm said it is seeking people who have experience in scaffolding, rigging, stage building and general operative works.
