SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 26TH: Depart Dublin for Boston, 2pm, arriving 4.05pm local time. Evening private time.

8-9.15am Education Ireland breakfast for all mission participants with Tánaiste and high school counsellor contacts.

9:45-10:45am Irish universities briefing meeting with Tánaiste.

12-2pm Tánaiste visits Boston College including lunch. Trade mission participants welcome.

3-8pm: Education Ireland Fair, open to high school counsellors, students and parents. Tánaiste to visit event at 6.30pm.

7-9pm: Reception for Tánaiste and higher education institute representatives to meet Irish PhD students, third-level contacts and Irish business representatives from Boston.

8:45pm Informal dinner hosted by Tánaiste for higher education institute trade mission participants in Marriott Hotel.

TUESDAYChicago

9:05am Depart for Chicago, arriving 10:45am. Morning free.

3-8pm Education Ireland fair open to high school counsellors, students and parents. Tánaiste to visit at 4pm. Evening: Private time.

WEDNESDAYChicago

8-9:15am Education Ireland breakfast for all trade mission participants with Tánaiste and high school counsellor contacts.

9:15-9:45am Photo opportunities with Tánaiste for higher education institutes and guests.

10-10:30am Institutes of technology briefing meeting with Tánaiste. Afternoon and evening free for meetings in Chicago or travel to St Louis.

THURSDAYSt Louis

Tánaiste delegation departs Chicago for St Louis. National Association for College Admission Counselling (NACAC) event (all day).

1-2pm Lunch with Tánaiste and National Association of High School Scholars and their Irish partner higher-education institutes.

4.30pm Tánaiste review of Education Ireland participation at NACAC.

6.30-7.30pm NACAC reception and event launch (Tánaiste not attending).

7pm Dinner with Tánaiste, Irish honorary consul Joe McGlynn, senior business member of the St Louis Irish American community, and one representative from each Irish university and college.

FRIDAYSt Louis

Morning: Tánaiste leaves for Ireland.

All day: NACAC exhibition 6.30-8.30pm “Meet the Irish”, NACAC networking event.

SATURDAYSt Louis

Final day NACAC conference and exhibition
