e-street.com, the provider of online city guides and urban data capture company has entered into a deal to provide city guides online for finance and industry professionals to Reuters.

e-street's location information service will be offered to Reuters' clients worldwide via www.city.reuters.com.

Currently, Reuters' subscribers can join its free-of-charge online club where information on a range of activities is available.

Now, in addition, for a subscription fee, users can access e-street's information about UK commercial listings such as restaurants, shops, bars and services.

To accompany the information, exterior photographs, maps and business details will also be provided by e-street.

Alice Nugent, CEO of e-street in Ireland, said that with the new deal e-street.com will have access to an estimated audience of 548,000 users worldwide.

"Reuters is a perfect host for e-street content and we are pleased to be able to offer our service," she said.

"Reuters will make extensive use of the information and will reach a huge audience of over 548,000 users worldwide."

Tim Coulton, Editor of Reuters City, said the new content would be now incorporated in the Reuters City website.

Founded in 1998, e-street.com is a leading urban data capture company, and gathers comprehensive information on retail properties in all of the major urban centres in the UK and Ireland.

Its coverage already extends to nine cities including Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford in Ireland and is available through the Internet, WAP, and in-flight systems, kiosks, and touch screens.
