A 23-YEAR-old Dublin drug addict was found collapsed in a toilet cubicle in Bewley's, Grafton Street, Dublin City Coroner's Court heard yesterday.

Mr Malcolm Denby, of Colepark Road, Ballyfermot, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Meath Hospital. A post mortem examination showed he died of a heroin overdose.

Mr Eoin O'Leary, a security guard, said he found Mr Denby slumped against the door of a third-floor toilet at about 9.30 p.m. on March 25th this year. He saw a syringe, a thin cord, a spoon, a brown paper bag and a small plastic bag near the body. He had inspected the toilets at 9 p.m. and they were empty.
