Man ‘critically’ injured in Dublin shooting

Victim taken to hospital after incident in Rowlagh park, Clondalkin

A man has been taken to hospital after sustaining critical injuries in a shooting in Dublin this evening.

Gardaí are investigating the incident which occurred at a house in Rowlagh Park, Clondalkin at about 6.40pm.

A Garda spokeswoman said the man, who is in his 50s, was taken to Tallaght Hospital for treatment.

The scene has been sealed off pending a full technical examination.

Gardaí are seeking information about the movements of a dark coloured car which is believed to have left the scene in the direction of Neilstown Road.
