Dublin-based building materials company CRH announced today it has acquired the remaining 55 per cent of the Dutch concrete producer Cementbouw.

Following the buyout, CRH's investment in the business amounts to approximately €184 million.

Cementbouw, which has 24 concrete plants in the Netherlands, reported EBITDA of €26.5 million on sales of €213 million in 2006.

Cementbouw's management team will continue to run the business, which will become a new reporting and development platform within CRH's Europe materials division.
