LONDON - Opposition parties last night demanded that the Prime Minister take action to ensure the cash-for-questions report is published before the general election.

Both Labour and the Liberal Democrats were angry after it emerged that the report is to be shelved until after polling day.

The report by Sir Gordon Downey was to have been considered by MPs on the Standards and Privileges Committee next week.
