Ms Denise Peppard, a student, of Finglas South, Dublin, who was ejected by security staff from the Janelle Shopping Centre, Finglas, was yesterday awarded £5,000 damages in the Circuit Civil Court for defamation.
Judge Raymond Groarke heard she had been told by members of Jaebrade Security Services Ltd: "We have been asked to escort you out of the shopping centre. We don't have a reason to give. Get out and don't come back anymore."
