Peaks in the ComeraghsPeaks Mountaineering Club meets tomorrow at Eldons pub in Clonmel, Co Tipperary, for its weekly local walks.

Serious walkers meet at 10am; those looking for a shorter walk meet at noon. Both walks will take place in the Comeraghs (pictured); the noon route is designed for people who have not been out with the club before. Walking in the BurrenBallyvaughan Fanore Walking Club meets tomorrow week for a four and a half hour loop walk. Be at O'Donoghues pub in Fanore, Co Clare, at 10.30am. Non-members pay €10 to join the walk, which passes the deserted village in the Caher Valley. You need to come properly equipped, and under-18s must be accompanied by an adult. After dark in WaterfordThe next Hilltoptreks full-moon walk in Co Waterford takes place next Friday. Meet outside Centra in Kilmacthomas at 7pm, to make your way to Croughaun Hill.
