Dublin Mountains Partnership is recruiting enthusiastic and committed walkers, hikers, mountain bikers and outdoor enthusiasts to join its ranger team. Typically, duties will include improving access, trail work, waymarking and helping to improve the visitor experience in the mountains. Moon walk

Meeting at the clock tower in Enniskerry at 6pm next Saturday, Hilltop Treks is offering the opportunity to see Co Wicklow’s landscape by the light of the full moon. This walk will take two to three hours and cover part of the Wicklow Way and Prince William’s Seat, with time to stop for a snack along the way. No previous walking experience is required. Feat of clay

Extreme Ireland is offering a walking weekend in Wicklow combined with an opportunity to explore creative talents through the medium of clay. Over St Valentine’s weekend, on February 13th and 14th, participants will spend the mornings walking in the hills and the afternoons practising basic ceramic techniques.
