IRISH MOTORISTS will undoubtedly rush to get their orders in early for the new Rolls Royce model, Ghost, which will make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next week.
The first official photos of the car, which is likely to carry a price tag of more than €500,000 in Ireland, were released this week.
The Ghost will sit on an overhauled version of the BMW 7-Series platform with a steel monocoque body that takes up less space than the traditional aluminium frame of the Phantom, allowing more room inside.
The car will feature a 6.6-litre 563bhp V12 with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Despite its size, it will have a 0-100km/h time of 4.7 seconds.
