Bo Concept cuts at Arnotts

BO CONCEPT, recently opened at Arnotts, Henry Street, Dublin 1, has several stylish pieces on special offer until January 30th. The Melo sofa bed has reclining and sleeping actions making it a very smart interpretation of the traditional standard. Available in two colours, light and anthracite grey, it is reduced 23 per cent from €1,295 to €995. The dark anthracite grey is a great neutral yet dark enough to hide most wear and tear.

Its BC54 extending dining table, which sits six to eight, is available in either walnut or white lacquer. Its down 25 per cent from €799 to €599. And the Cavona dining chair, available in three colours was €139 and is now €109. All offers valid until January 30th while stocks last.

Bella bargains

IF YOURE partial to Italian design, Artisan Furniture (01-8649149) at 19 Millennium Business Park, Cappagh Road, Dublin 11, has some really beautiful floor models by high-end brands such as Porada, Giorgetti and Flexform reduced to clear. The oak wenge Tobogo shelving, pictured, by Porada is reduced 33 per cent from €1,950 to €1,300.

The Ico Parisi-esque retro solid cherry dining table and six Anzie chairs with Alcantara upholstery is almost half price, reduced from €7,982 to €4,050 and the optical illusion Stripe screen-printed glass coffee table was €1,895 and is down 54 per cent to €874. And there’s Scrivano, a slick but compact solid cherry desk stained wenge. It’s down from €1,890 to €1,100.

Deals from developers

BEGLEYS (042-9334077), just off the M1 motorway at the N53 (Castleblayney Road) exit in Dundalk, County Louth, has designed furniture for numerous high-end property developments. It has a number of sofas and armchairs reduced to clear in its January sale.

The Setanta, available in a selection of colours, was €1,299 and is now down 30 per cent to €899. The Watson large armchair was €1,199 and is reduced to €799. The large Nova footstool is half price, down from €798. It has extensive curtain fabric ranges with up to 30 per cent off. And there’s also 10 per cent off all orders placed during these last days of January. The Lansdowne classic hand-made sofa comes in a floral Sanderson printed linen, and costs from €1,700. The Diplomat, a solid-beech hand-made frame, coil sprung. duck down-filled sofa comes in a variety of colours including a magenta pink chenille. Prices start from €2,225.

Flanagan's flatpacks are child's play

FLANAGAN’S has lovely New England-inspired single beds that are idea for children’s rooms. The flatpack beds were €325 each and are now down 46 per cent to €175 each. Also available are Respa mattresses reduced 69 per cent from €295 to €89 each.

Spotlight on a glossy half-price kitchen

MOBALPA Kitchens Dublin (01-4032910) at the Red Cow Retail Centre, Ballymount, Dublin 22 has an Omega showroom kitchen reduced to clear. It has glossy laminate Havanna-coloured doors with flush handles, cream-coloured composite worktops and sides, a moulded sink and integrated pan rest, an island with two deep drawer units, cutlery trays and rack drawer system for storage.

There’s oodles of storage and integrated spotlights to illuminate every corner. This kitchen was priced €15,700. The display kitchen is reduced by 55 per cent to €6,900. Both prices include fitting but appliances are not included.

The Siemens ceramic hob, island cubic extractor hood, multi-function oven and Gorenje retro fridge with freezer compartment would normally cost €3,450. The buyer of the kitchen can avail of these display appliances for €2,050 – 40 per cent off.

Blooming amazing

THE Mayflower armchair at Roche Bobois (01-6531650), Beacon South Quarter, Sandyford, Dublin 18, is guaranteed to make any room blooming amazing. The shop has two felt floor models reduced by 45 per cent, down from €1,975 to €1,100 each.
