What's the best gig you've been to?Don't ask me personal questions. My memories of gigs belong to me. Fuck you and your "journalism". It's none of your business and you know it. I hate cheap shots like this. You should be ashamed of yourself.

And the worst?Shove it up your ass. I'll keep my memories of gigs where they belong – in me.

Ecologically speaking, are you closer to Radiohead or Motörhead?Radiohead easily. Motörhead are scary. Radiohead are cute and fluffy. Like us.

Who is the most famous person to have shown up at one of your gigs?Probably Jack White, but we knew him before he was famous. I would have to say when Suggs from Madness came to see our show in Reading a few years ago he made a comparison between our two bands that has always stayed with me. He said, "There's something to be said for writing vaguely intellectual lyrics."

Most embarrassing on-stage moment?I farted.

What's your crowd-pleasing number?I'm going to go out on a limb and say Gay Bar.

Chatting between songs – good or bad?Good! I can get a better read on where everyone is coming from by intercepting their conversations. Then I have a better idea of how to mess with them after the show.

Groupies. Would you?Totally.

Do you like to meet and greet fans after the gig?Yes, if they like to offer exciting qualities about themselves and a fresh perspective. If they just want me to call their mate and tell him that I want to take him to a gay bar, then no, I don't like that.

What's the worst thing ever thrown at you?Unconditional love.

Who's invited to your aftershow party?Jim Corr.
