New electronic music session Jam the Box gets swinging in the Pogo basement with Irish producer Donnacha Costello (pictured) tearing through his back pages. For 15 years Costello has finessed his palette with a prolific range of releases for such labels as Poker Flat, Force Inc, Mille Plateaux and D1, as well as his own Minimise and Look Long imprints. Along the way there have been a couple of fine albums, with last year's Before We Say Goodbyeseeing Costello move from the glitchy patterns once favoured towards warmer, more organic sonics, as much for the head as the feet.

Costello will be supported by Infinitestatemachine.com’s Kenny Hanlon and Jam the Box mainman Barry Redsetta, with the first 100 payers getting a free JTB mix-CD. There’s jazz and swing from Vertical Rhythm in the Mezz, while Hssh! host a tribute to Fela Kuti on the Stage.
