At the opening of its data centre in Park West yesterday, Wolfe group, the Dublin-based technology management company, said it would raise more than £20 million (€25.4 million) in second round funding. This will be used to fund the group's move into six European countries over the next 12 months, according to Mr Geoff Carragher, managing director of Wolfe Group.

The company recently secured £5 million in funding from venture capital group 3i which it used to build and equip its new data centre in Park West. The 20,000 sq ft data centre, which will host technology systems such as websites and e-commerce facilities, was officially opened by the Minister for Public Enterprise, Ms O'Rourke.
