Have you seen the Uberboard? It seems it’s the latest craze with Premier League footballers; everywhere you look they’re tweeting or Instagramming photos of themselves with the devices. Southampton, Liverpool, even Steven Gerrard has one (and two for his kids) So what exactly is it?

The Uberboard describes itself as the "self-balancing love child of the skateboard and Segway".

It looks more like a skateboard but it’s not as much effort.

According to the company it “effortlessly glides”, and you’ll get a nine to 12-mile range from a one-hour charge.

It’s available in a range of colours, from white and black to blue and pink, so there’s one for everyone.

And unlike a Segway, you won’t be embarrassed to be seen on it.

Win-win.
