Dyson’s V6 range shows its Fluffy side

Something called the “Fluffy” doesn’t exactly sound like it would be up to the tough task of keeping your home clean. But that’s exactly what it does. Made by Dyson, the Fluffy is the latest in a line of tools that you can deploy to keep dust, dirt and crumbs at bay. In the case of the Fluffy, it’s part of Dyson’s plans for its V6 cordless machine. The Dyson V6 Fluffy comes not only with the wider motorised head and other bits you’d expect, but also the aforementioned Fluffy - a soft roller cleaner head that will pick up dust and dirt from your hardwood floors more effectively than your average cleaning tool. The other version of the V6 is the Absolute: top of the range with a direct drive cleaner head that, according to Dyson, has 150 per cent more brush bar power than the standard version that comes with the V6. There’s a hard floor cleaner too and a post motor filter to help weed out allergens and cleaning up the air that it expels.

Both the Fluffy and the Absolute have the V6 digital motor and batteries that last roughly 20 minutes (or 16, depending on the tool you are using). And like the Dyson cordless machines before them, they’re balanced so you can use them as a floor cleaner or to reach the cobwebs lurking in the corner.
