Viridian, ePower and ESB Independent Energy were the successful bidders in the third and final virtual independent power producer auction held last Friday, the Commission for Electricity Regulation said yesterday.
The three companies also secured rights to supply power to industrial users in the two previous auctions held earlier this month.
