Carlow startup to create 12 jobs in the next year

Maven TM expands following key contract wins over the summer

Twelve jobs are being created in Carlow at Irish startup company Maven TM.

The telemarketing and and lead generation company is already recruiting for the positions, which it expects to fill within a year. The new jobs come after the Carlow based company won a number of contracts with multinational firms such as Vodafone Ireland.

The firm was set up in 2011, and currently employs 18 people. It has been steadily expanding since January, and has already added 11 jobs since then.

Maven TM has clients in Ireland, Germany, UK, USA, Sweden, France and Belgium, working in seven languages.

"Since the company's beginnings in 2011, we've experienced impressive growth and market share," founder Mark Cradock said. "We won key contracts with four global companies during the summer, fuelling our need to recruit a further 12 new jobs in the next year in sales, marketing, HR, finance and operations."

Taoiseach Enda Kenny is visiting Carlow Community Enterprise Centre later today to make the official announcement, where he will also meet other entrepreneurs from the area.
