Kerry Group is considering a takeover bid for Newmarket Co-operative in Cork, the Irish Farmers’ Journal reported.
“Kerry has a close working relationship with Newmarket, but the report is speculative and we don’t comment on speculation,” spokesman Frank Hayes said by phone. – (Bloomberg)
