Remuneration of Eircom directors

Executive directors:

Basic salaries - Alfie Kane £300,000, Malcolm Fallen £250,000

Performance-related bonus - £957,564 combined to Alfie Kane and Malcolm Fallen.

Taxable benefits - £113,380 combined to Alfie Kane and Malcolm Fallen.

Pension contributions - £134,958 combined to Alfie Kane and Malcolm Fallen.

Settlement of prior years' compensation and bonus liabilities - £755,176 to Alfie Kane.

Non-executive directors:

Fees - £110,000 to chairman Ray MacSharry, nine other non-executive directors: Pat Molloy, Patrick Morley, Paul Mackay, Dick Spring, Jim Flavin, William Ferguson, Annika Christensen, Bill Attley and Marten Peters shared fees of £265,000.

Special fees - total of £136,000 for work on Eircom IPO divided mainly between Ray MacSharry, Dick Spring, Jim Flavin and Pat Molloy.

Former directors:

Ex gratia payments of £25,000 each to Evanne Kilmurray, Maurice Doyle, Gerry Wrixon and Marie Hurley who resigned as directors ahead of the IPO.
