Electricity regulator Mr Tom Reeves will assume responsibility for the natural gas market under plans announced by the Minister for Public Enterprise, Ms O'Rourke. At the official opening of offices in Dublin for the Commission for Electricity Regulation yesterday, Ms O'Rourke said Mr Reeves's office would regulate energy as a whole, rather than just the electricity sector under legislation she is bringing forward.
