Oracle has named Mr Dermot O'Kelly, a native of Strabane, Co Tyrone, as managing director of Oracle Corporation Ireland, the sales and consulting arm of the software group.
The appointment follows the recent defection of Oracle Ireland's senior management team to a rival company, Salesforce.com, founded by former Oracle senior vice-president, Mr Marc Benioff.
