AIB's 85,000 Internet banking customers can download a new service which will allow them to make online purchases without broadcasting their actual credit card number over the Internet. The new service, transaction online, uses a new payments technology developed by Orbiscom. It can be downloaded from the AIB Internet banking site www.24houronline.ie.
