MACKIE International has said that a statement issued last Friday in relation to a £6.68 million rights issue did not constitute a formal profit warning, contrary to the impression given by a headline in The Irish Times. However in the course of the announcement the group did warn that growth this year will be affected by uncertainty over an order in China.
