ISS, a European cleaning company with operations in Ireland, has acquired the German group Piepenbrock's cleaning companies and has bought the British company Southdown Cleaning & Maintenance (SCM).
Piepenbrock's cleaning companies are based in a number of European countries. The companies have a total of 5,500 employees, while SCM has 2,200 employees.
