Ms Jane Marshall of McCann FitzGerald, Solicitors, has been elected president of the insolvency practitioners' organisation, INSOL Europe. It is the first time an Irish person has been elected president of INSOL, according to McCann Fitzgerald.
INSOL has a membership of more than 800 insolvency practitioners in 36 countries and has 40 Irish members, drawn principally from the legal and accountancy professions. The principal aim of the organisation is to take a leading role in European issues in insolvency and business recovery.
