The farmer shareholders in NCF and Kiltoghert co-operative societies voted overwhelmingly yesterday to merge.

The farmer shareholders in NCF and Kiltoghert co-operative societies voted overwhelmingly yesterday to merge.

The merger will result in a western co-operative with a turnover in the region of £200 million in the current year.

NCF shareholders voted 98.7 per cent in favour, with 87 per cent of Kiltoghert shareholders supporting the merger.
