CPL Fuels to create 142 jobs

Fuel supplier CPL is to create 142 jobs in Co Limerick, as part of €20 million expansion programme.

The company, which is one of Europe’s largest solid fuel suppliers to domestic households, is to develop a new bio-fuels plant in Foynes.

Some 142 jobs will be created at the plant which is due to open in 2015.

The jobs announcement is timely given a new vision document for Limerick as a centre for commercial investment is due to be launched later today.

The Limerick 2030 plan is aimed at transforming the city over the next two decades.
