Incline Corporation, a US liquid crystal display (LCD) services firm with European offices based in Shannon, has been acquired by a Scottish competitor, Display Products Technology. Incline employs 26 people in the Shannon Free Zone, providing technical support for LCD repair for customers in Britain, Germany and France. Display Products Technology, set up in East Kilbride in 1994 by former IBM engineer Mr David Wares, has overseas offices in Austin, Texas, and in Taiwan, and employs 440 people.
