Businesses in Dublin invested almost £24 million (€31 million) in community-based projects in the capital last year. A survey by Dublin Chamber of Commerce found that, while they still donated money to such initiatives, companies were also assisting them through non-cash donations of staff time, training and work experience. Locally-based initiatives were most likely to receive support, the survey found.
