Digital engineering company Tantek 4D is to create 30 new jobs in Dublin and Sligo as well as open an office in the United States.

The Sligo-headquartered company founded in 2018 operates within the architectural, engineering, construction and operations industry.

The new roles will be created over the next 18 months in areas such as digital automation, digital project management, artificial intelligence, machine learning and geospatial surveying.

The job vacancies at both their Dublin and Sligo offices will increase their existing workforce from 14 to 44 when filled.

Tantek 4D works on developments in 4D building information modelling technology. It also works with large construction companies in implementing digital transformation strategies.

The group, which already has offices in Sligo, Dublin and London, is expanding its operations to the US.

Tantek 4D, which is chaired by former LotusWorks chief executive Fergal Broder, also announced the appointment of Denis Browne and Tom O’Callaghan as board members.

Mr Browne is a former regional operations director of Google Data Centres, while Mr O’Callaghan was said to have “extensive experience in the power and energy sector”, providing consultancy to Irish, UK and European organisations.

Tantek 4D chief executive Conor Tansey said: “We are really ramping up operations in Ireland — hiring more staff, and also expanding into international markets.”
