Yang and Woods to do battle in Shanghai

Golf:Korean's Yang Yong-eun, Asia's first male winner of a major title after winning the US PGA Championship earlier this month, will have the chance to take on Tiger Woods again at the HSBC Champions event - now part of the World Golf Championship series - in Shanghai on November 5th-8th.

The two did battle on the Sheshan course three years ago and Yang came out on top then as well.

Also among the field are 2007 winner Phil Mickelson, defending champion Sergio Garcia and four more of the world’s top 10 - Paul Casey, Henrik Stenson, Geoff Ogilvy and Open champion Stewart Cink.

“Winning the tournament set the foundation for bigger things to come,” said Yang. “It gave me the courage to achieve bigger goals.
