Buick Open: American Brett Quigley will take a one shot lead over Tiger Woods into the third round of the Buick Open on Saturday after the world number one began the day with his first bogey of the tournament.

Woods, who shared the overnight lead with Quigley at 13-under after second round play was halted due to poor light, returned to the Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club early on Saturday to complete his final three holes.

He immediately dropped a shot at the par five 16th for his first and only bogey through two rounds before closing with two pars to return a six-under 66 for the second successive day.

Quigley avoided an early start when he birdied the 18th just as the horn sounded to end play Saturday signing for a 66 to get to 13-under 133.

Vijay Singh also remained in contention for an unprecedented third straight Buick crown after closing his round with two birdies on 14 and 16 before dropping a shot with a bogey at the last for a three-under 69.

The Fijian joins first round leader Mike Weir (70) of Canada and Americans Jeff Sluman (67) and Bo Van Pelt (66) two back of the leader on 11-under.

Chris DiMarco, runner up to Woods at the British Open and fighting to secure a place on the U.S. Ryder Cup team, fumbled his way to a two-over 74 and failed to make the cut for the third time in his last four events.

DiMarco finished with a midway score of one-under 143, well off the three-under cut.
