Mark Wilson and Anton Haig, 270th and 292nd in the world at the start of the year, are now 86th and 88th after winning the Honda Classic and Johnnie Walker Classic in play-offs.
Wilson achieved his first US Tour victory in Florida today after a four-man play-off with Jose Coceres, Camilo Villegas and Boo Weekley spilled into an extra day.
Villegas and Weekley, who had missed a three-foot putt to win on the 72nd green, went out with bogeys at the second extra hole and then Wilson, who in the second round received a two-stroke penalty when his caddie let slip what club he had used for a shot, birdied the next.
It was the second week in a row Argentinian Coceres had lost a play-off. Fifty-year-old Fred Funk beat him in Mexico.
Haig got the better of fellow South African Richard Sterne and England's Oliver Wilson in Phuket.
The top 20 in the world remain unchanged, while Darren Clarke and Lee Westwood will be looking to climb back into the top 50 at this week's Singapore Masters so that they qualify for the world championship in Miami later this month.
