Camogie National League: Two Division One A games went ahead yesterday with Wexford defeating Limerick by 2-7 to 0-4 while Tipperary maintained their unbeaten run in the league when they overcame Galway by 1-11 to 0-4.

Limerick and Wexford were level 0-3 each at the break , but Wexford stepped up the pace in the second half and when full forward Úna Leacy found the net after nine minutes they never looked back. A second Wexford goal from a Kate Kelly free ensured the victory.

Tipperary meant business in The Ragg yesterday when they led all the way following Claire Grogan's pointed free in the sixth minute which was in direct response to Gemma Kelly's opening point for Galway in the second minute.

Tipperary played against the first-half wind and were 0-7 to 0-3 up at the break. However, once Emer McDonnell got the only goal of the game there was no way back for Galway .

Galway's second string made up for their seniors' defeat by Tipperary when they overcame the same opposition, 3-7 to 1-10, in a Division One B game at the same venue.

Derry had an easy 2-12 to 1-2 Division Two A win over Dublin in Swatragh.

In Division Three A, Roscommon overcame Westmeath by 1-7 to 1-6 in Kinnegad while Waterford overcame Meath, 3-11 to 1-1, in the only game in Division Three B.

The colleges senior A All-Ireland final replay between St Mary's, Charleville, and Presentation College Athenry was postponed on Saturday because of weather but will go ahead tomorrow in Meelick, at noon.

Other matches that fell to the weather were Cavan v Tyrone, Antrim v Offaly while the Cork v Kilkenny Division One A game did not go ahead because of Cork's holiday in Egypt.
