Hazel Grove, Rathfarnham and Slade Valley will be doubly engaged when the Eastern District Clarins Autumn Team semi-finals take place in the coming weeks. Hazel Grove have qualified to meet the K Club in the fourth team competition, while the other semi-final sees the first appearance of Castleblayney, who take on Newlands.
Slade Valley and Hazel Grove meet in one semi-final of the fifty team, with the winners to play either Howth or Balcarrick. In the second team semi-final, Headfort take on Greenore while Rathfarnham meet Slade Valley. The third team deciders see Hermitage and Sutton meet in one semi-final, with Kilternan and Rathfarnham in the other.
Senior Cup holders Co Louth are through the Townsend Foursomes semi-final, where they meet neighbours and close rivals Laytown and Bettystown.
The second semi-final will be another derby, with Grange taking on Elm Park.
