Yorkshire Schools... 6 Leinster Schools..

Yorkshire Schools ... 6 Leinster Schools ... 33 The Leinster Schools showed much improved form after their narrow loss to Leicester Under-18s on Friday night to outclass the Yorkshire Schools at Silcoates yesterday.

They got the perfect start when flanker Keelan O'Toole got over in the 10th minute, and wing Stephen Grissing made it 10-0 with the second try before Yorkshire's James Rothwell made it 10-6 from two penalties. Eamon Fitzgerald's penalty gave Leinster a 13-6 lead at the break.

Leinster's back row of Paul Nash, O'Toole and Cliff Murphy were prominent, and second row Alex Dunlop was again outstanding.

But, the main threat came from the back three. Left wing Vincent Gough and replacement full back Robert Smith had Leinster's last two tries. Substitute outhalf Jonathan Sexton struck both conversions and, in between, two penalties.
