Nenagh CBS 2-12 De La Salle (Waterford) 0-11:THE CHAMPIONS of 2007 and 2008, De La Salle, Waterford were knocked out of the Harty Cup by a much superior Nenagh CBS at Clonmel yesterday.
The winners were led superbly by midfielder Brian Stapleton.
A goal in the ninth minute from full forward John O’Brien helped to put Nenagh into the driving seat and at half-time the Tipperary school led by 1-6 to 0-8.Eoin Hogan’s late goal was the final nail in the coffin for De La Salle.
