Soccer: Tonight's eircom League premier Division fixture between St Patrick's Athletic and Galway United has been postponed following a pitch inspection at Richmond Park.

A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.

St Pat's are currently second in the table but are a massive 22 points behind runaway leaders and champions-elect Bohemians who have played two more games (27) than their closest pursuers.

Galway have an altogether different agenda as they are rooted at the foot of the table with just 20 points, though they have a game in hand over UCD, who are second from bottom with 21 points after 29 games.
