St Patrick's Athletic 1-1 Shamrock Rovers:  St Patrick's Athletic returned to the top of the table, one point ahead of Bohemians, after a 1-1 with Dublin rivals Shamrock Rovers at Richmond Park this evening.

St Pat's opened the scoring after just six minutes when Mark Quigley latched onto a Keith Fahey pass before firing past Barry Murphy in the Rovers goal.

The league leaders held the advantage for large periods of the game and Rovers had to wait until the 74th minute when Pádraig Amond struck the equaliser.

Although St Pat's moved one clear of their nearest rival Bohemians they have played two more games.
