John Robertson has dipped into the transfer market and signed goalkeeper Dave McEwan from Scottish side Alloa Athletic.

The new Derry City boss feels signing the 25-year-old shot stopper will keep the pressure on Patrick Jennings.

McEwan played Uefa Cup for Livingston and has also been on the books at Hamilton Academicals and Clyde.

Other transfer news at the Brandywell will see striker Karl Bermingham move to Waterford United while Darren Kelly said he will stay for the European campaign with the Candystripes.
