Linfield 1-0 Cork City:Aidan O'Kane scored a late winner for Linfield in tonight's semi-final of the Setanta Cup against Cork City at Windsor Park to ensure the cross-border competition has representation from both the Irish and eircom Leagues as they will now take on holders Drogheda United in the final.

O'Kane's goal came late in the match with just five minutes of normal time remaining, and, in truth, the breakthrough came against the run of play.

Cork keeper Michael Devine and man-of-the-match Joe Gamble both failed to deal with Jamie Mulgrew's cross before O'Kane showed enough composure to shoot low into the net.

Linfield will take to the familiar Windsor Park turf once more for the final against Drogheda on Saturday, May 12th.
