Tonight's eircom League First Division clash between Limerick and Kildare County has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Officials inspected Hogan Park this morning but deemed the pitch unplayable following heavy rainfall in the area over the weekend.

The game has yet to be rescheduled.

Longford Town's rescheduled game with Premier Division newcomers Sligo Rovers goes ahead tonight (7.45pm) following a satisfactory inspection at Flancare Park.

Also, St Patrick's Athletic's home game with Bray Wanderers scheduled for April 21st now takes place two days earlier in order to facilitate a Republic of Ireland women's international at Richmond Park on April 22nd.

Finally, the Kilkenny City v Dundalk fixture on April 15th will be played 24 hours earlier at Buckley Park.
